Reflections from the First Day

We worked through various issues this morning with the self-certification process. You should now receive a text and email for each child. In the event that you only receive one notification, just like today, you can use that single certification confirmation for all your children.

Another frequently asked question is about Apple IDs not working. We are aware of this issue and working to resolve it as soon as possible. The Apple ID is not critical to be logged in on the iPads. It is more important to have students’ Google username working properly because that logs them into Clever and into their Google Suite.

The Technology Department has created a Technology Resources page which includes many Frequently Asked Questions. This will be a great resource for many parent questions.

Finally, since we know there are many questions with student iPads, the Technology Department is hosting “office hours” this Wednesday at Hille Middle School from 9:00am - 2:00pm. If you have questions about student iPads, apps not loading, or just need helping navigating through it all? You can schedule an appointment using the link below: https://calendly.com/brian-skibinski/technology-office-hours

We look forward to continuing to welcome our students into the school buildings and creating strong classroom communities with all learners. Thank you for your partnership in proving our students with an exemplary education. As we work together to create a seamless system for both in-person and remote learning, we could not do it without our families’ support.
