District 142 Welcomes New Principal at Ridge Early Childhood Center
District 142 is excited to welcome Dr. Kathleen Tomaszewski as the new Principal at Ridge Early Childhood Center for the 2026-2027 School Year.
Notice on Annual Application of Lawn Care Products
As part of Forest Ridge School District 142's annual lawn care program, a contractor will be applying weed control chemicals to the turf areas at each school on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.

The March 17, 2026 (Tuesday) Regular Board Meeting has been cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. This is due to the Illinois mandate that no school board meetings may take place on the day of a Primary General Election. March 17, 2026 is a Primary General Election Day in Illinois. The rescheduled March 18, 2026 (Wednesday) Regular Board Meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. at Jack Hille Middle School, 5800 151st Street, Oak Forest, Illinois in Room A8-A9. At this time, all other remaining regularly-scheduled District 142 Board of Education Meeting dates and times remain unchanged.
