Hille Middle School Welcomes New Assistant Principal

I am very pleased to introduce you to Hille Middle School’s new Assistant Principal, Kyle Novak. On April 16, 2024, the Forest Ridge School District 142 Board of Education unanimously voted to hire Kyle Novak to serve in the role of Assistant Principal at Hille Middle School, beginning the 2024-2025 School Year.

Kyle Novak is very excited to join the District 142 family and the Hille Team. Mr. Novak comes to District 142 with a strong history in teaching, positive student development, middle school instruction, athletics, and educational leadership. Most recently serving as Assistant Principal and District Director of Athletics in Lyons School District 103, Mr. Novak has a unique combination of administrative skill and a strong understanding of the benefits of extra-curricular activities for students. Additionally, Mr. Novak has been Classroom Teacher, Dean of Students, and Teacher Evaluator. In every role, Mr. Novak maintains that everything he does is measured first by what is in the best interest of students.

Kyle Novak is equally motivated to serve in the role of teacher/staff leader. Mr. Novak is guided by the understanding that building relationships with staff and taking the time to determine individual and collective needs, ultimately leads to improved student educational experiences. Mr. Novak believes that a good teacher/staff leader listens and provides both actionable feedback and tools necessary to help support and strengthen teachers and staff; ultimately leading to a cooperative and positive school climate and culture.

Please join me in welcoming Kyle Novak to Hille Middle School and District 142. We’re excited for the entire District 142 Community to get know Mr. Novak.

Respectfully,

Dr. Kristine Roth, Superintendent
