2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR ACTIVITY/AFTER-SCHOOL BUS NOTICE
Due to the bus driver shortage, District 142 is unable to provide an After-School/Activity Bus for students. Parents/Guardians who want their child(ren) to participate in extra-curricular, after-school activities, will need to pick their child(ren) up at the school building wherein the activity is taking place, at the time designated by the individual school building. Please contact your school building to determine after-school activity times and pick-up processes. If the bus driver shortage improves/changes, District 142 will communicate this to our Parents/Guardians.

Regular bus route information is available through your PowerSchool Parent Portal account.  Please be sure to double check bus stops and times before school starts as routes and times do change. Please be visible at the bus stop approximately 10 minutes before the bus stop time listed as running times will change due to weather and traffic conditions.

Utilizing Illinois School Bus and Alpha Transportation, we transport approximately 1,000 students daily using approximately 20 buses. The students are transported to our four in-district schools and four Southwest Cooperative Member schools.

If you have questions you may call Mrs. Dorthaline Marshall at 708-687-3334 x2210, on any school day from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
